This morning, as I'm lying in bed, I hear a crash downstairs and think one of the cats knocked something over. Then I realize both cats are in bed with me. I freaked. I looked out my window and saw my ex-roommate's car parked out front. WTF??? Why does my ex roommate still have a key and why is she here doing laundry???? Apparently she came over to wash her clothes because she hasn't gotten her appliances yet! And she put food in the fridge! I yelled at Chris for not warning me she would be coming over or that she still has a key.
I wasn't too mad at Chris. He did buy me Reese's PB cups to make up for my missing bowl. I still think Tracy broke it ans isn't copping to it.
As I was lying in bed this evening, PJ got up and was staring at the wall. It looked like there was a bug crawling up it so I went over to kill it and realized it was a Scorpion! I hate them as much as spiders! I freaked and of course Chris was in the shower. I wrote him a note, slipped it under his door and went back to see if I could find it again. (I lost track of it when it fell off the wall!) Luckily it crawled back up the wall. It tried to get out the window, so I opened it and the scorpion bolted in the other direction! I freaked again. Those fuckers are fast! I got my usual scorpion killin' weapon of choice: a knife. The scorpion was too small to stab so I figured maybe it would squish if I used a shoe. The big ones don't squish. Thankfully, this one squished and then i vacuumed it up! Chris finally got out of the shower and brought me the industrial bug spray-the kind you get at home depot to spray your house. I'm still freaked and probably won't sleep well, but at least it's dead and I sprayed.
Getting excited about the End of Summer Scorcher on Saturday!

Nothing exciting
Nothing exciting has happened lately. At least not that I remember. I'm having a horrible time remembering things lately. Drove to the drugstore, forgot what I went for, got out of the car and remembered what I went for, then promptly forgot again once I was inside! WTF?! It's like I have Alzheimer's or something.
The most exciting thing that happened on Thursday was some dumbass bitch, who didn't know how to drive an SUV, parking over the line so that I could barely get back in my car! I took a picture of her park job and sent it to Bri. He told me to spit on her door handles! I didn't, but it made me laugh for a while. Also, at some point in the week, I bought VIP tickets to End of Summer Scorcher for me and Em. She's never been to a concert before! She's going to have major concert overload with 20some bands playing!
On Friday, bri finally caved and got a twitter account. Ha Ha! He's still figuring the whole thing out. Jared doesn't seem to like it, but they just need more followers and they'll love it! At my request, Bri explained how to sell stuff on Amazon. Just have to get a stupid Green Dot card so I can start. Oh. I forgot that Chris's mom and niece were here all week. They stayed here Wednesday and Thursday night. I had to seriously scrub my bathtub when they left! It was black. No joke. Gross. They finally left on Friday morning. Then his sister came in today, but thankfully is not staying here! Got a text from Bri, saying there was a guy dressed like a pirate at the mechanics. Bri waved to him and the pirate apparently growled at him!
Nothing much happened Saturday or today. Mom's been making me laugh. She's extra ornery lately. It's fun. I've been reading about writing my book, which has become bipolar, itself! There is no theme anymore. I'm now just writing and when I'm done, hopefully I can make a book out of it all! Also reading about freelance writing. Unfortunately, I'm having a serious lack of motivation again. It's very frustrating! Really want to get a website up, but I have too many ideas and yet not enough. Don't ask me how that works.
I really want a new tattoo, but lack the funds. I need a real, paying job!

Today wasn't any better than yesterday. I tried to iron-on my transfers last night only to find that I had printed it on the wrong side! I took the iron-on stuff over to my parents to try again. I returned the underwear I bought yesterday and meant to go to Kmart. While I was at JC Penny's returning my stuff my sister called. She totally distracted me. I forgot what I was doing and passed Kmart. She said I should go back, but I didn't. I wasn't feeling fab today, so I didn't feel like turning around.
Becky called because our cousin in London posted on Facebook that someone stole his cat! Who steals someone's cat?? She sent him a reply saying he should put up flyers and say that the Americans (her and I) were coming to help! She's too funny.
I couldn't decide what to do so, I went to Big Lots for the hell of it. I walked around for a bit, then saw something on the bottom shelf I wanted to look at. So I crouched down, completely lost my balance and fell on my ass! I completely gave up after that and headed to my parents for dinner. Wasn't even there a half hour before my phone starts ringing. It's Felix. I ignored it the first time because I was talking to my mom and figured he'd leave a message. He didn't so I didn't think anything of it. He called again a few minutes later and I started to think he needed me to come get him, but I unintentionally ignored it again. Then he text me and said answer your phone. I called him back and sure enough, he'd missed his bus to group and needed a ride. He asked where I was and if I'd eaten yet. I said I was at my parents and no I hadn't eaten yet. Then he says oh nevermind I'll just wait for the next bus an hour from now. I had to ask him 4 times where he was so I could get him.

...and it's only Tuesday
So far this week has sucked. Got lost in Tempe yesterday because the "stores" I was trying to find weren't actually stores! One was a house and the other was a rented storage space! Drove around for at least an hour! Today I spent 3 hours trying to find red cotton thongs. You'd think this would be easy, but no. Seriously, I went everywhere: Walmart, Target, Kohl's, Sears, JC Penny's, Old Navy, Aeropostale, American Eagle, New York and Co., Charlotte Russe, Dillard's, Macy's, Ross, Marshall's, Hot Topic, Express, Wet Seal and Victoria Secret. Now you'd think at least they would have red cotton thongs! No one had them. Then bought ink for a printer that doesn't work, spent an hour and a half trying to get it to print, switched to a different printer and printed on the wrong side of the paper. Once I finally got home, my mom calls to ask what I did to the computer because now it won't print. Of course it must be because of me. There couldn't possibly be another reason the printers' not printing. An hour later she called back to say something they had installed messed up the printers. So frustrated!
Still trying to figure out how to go to the concert and if anyone will come with me. Really want to go. I told Shan that I'd be there. Speaking of, he gave me a shout out on the radio tonight. That was nice of him.
Bought some bath salts, but had to clean the bath tub before I could use them. It was lavender and was supposed to relax me. Well, I'm tired, but still pissy. I'll try again tomorrow.

My roommate, Tracy, moved out today! YAY! It's not that she wasn't a nice person, in general, but she was starting to annoy the crap out of me! My room is between hers and the bathroom. I have to have my door cracked open so the cats can get in and out. She would get up at 4am for work, open her door, leave her light on, go to the bathroom, turn on the light and proceed to walk between to two for at least 20 minutes. Those light are bright and would shine right in my room! Then, when she finally closed A door, she made no attempt to shut it quietly. Sometimes, she would leave the lights on and go downstairs to eat breakfast! It's not like I have anywhere to be in the morning, but common courtesy would be nice. I make every attempt to be quiet when my roommates are sleeping, regardless of if they have to work in the morning. I don't sleep well as it is; I don't need help to not be asleep. However, she is now gone! I will have peaceful mornings and my bathroom back! I really don't share well.
I had my daily dose of random texts from Brian. Always entertaining! I also chatted with my sister, Becky, on Facebook. Also entertaining! She's so dramatic (manic)! I went to my parents house for dinner, which I always do, and Becky happened to call while I was there. She talked to my mom for a bit and must have asked a question, because my mom started explaining something. (I wasn't paying attention to what they were talking about) It's interesting and frustrating to try and explain anything to my sister! Sometimes she just doesn't get it, but mostly, she just doesn't pay enough attention to what you're saying. She tries to be a step ahead of what you're explaining. Never works out well for her. You'd think she'd learn by now, but no.
My attempt to work on stuff for Shanman Army did not go well. Will try again tomorrow.

Today was a fairly tame day. Not much out of the ordinary happened. Checked all my accounts: twitter, facebook and myspace. Got a message from Shan Man via twitter about being ready for the summer scorcher-a concert. I wasn't aware he expected me to be there so I was surprised by this message. I asked him if I had to be there and he said 'no, not if you don't want to', which sounded sad/disappointed. So, I guess I'm going. Trying to get Em to go with me! We'll see! I was trying to see if I could get something made that had ShanMan Army on it for the concert and came across a website that not only prints t-shirts, they print on underwear! I got totally distracted and messed around with it for quite a long time making a thong with ShanMan on it! I sent him a picture of it. Of course he loved it! Thinking I might have a few made...
Briefly talked to my sister and told her about dad's confusion yesterday. She had the girls this weekend, so she was trying to find something to do. The weather was yucky, so they bought a soap-making kit and made soap! Also talked (text, actually) to Bri. Man he remembers everything! He knows the details of things I don't even remember happening! He did give me more material for my book, which was nice. I have to say, we were really mischievous together!

Today (actually it started last night) has been strange. I was writing about my brother and I's childhood when I got a text from him. He asked what I was doing, so I told him and he started suggesting things I needed to write down. One such suggestion was of the time we took some guys keys out of the ignition and buried them! I did not recall this, but he even remembered the guys name! He also said we needed to take road trip-he knows where the rock is that we buried the keys under! How funny would it be if they were still there?! Can you imagine, 20 years later, calling this guy saying we found his keys that he "lost" in 1989!? I really want to go see if they're still there!
That happened last night. What also happened last night was me trying to get 2 of my friends together to talk. They both are assuming things about the other and no one has the facts right. They agreed to talk today. I was informed by one of them, that the conversation did not go well, and they are no longer friends. Well, crap. So much for that plan! This is such a stupid thing to lose a friendship over.
During the day, I was using TweetDeck, keeping an eye on both of my accounts plus my facebook, when I noticed that the page wasn't updating. At the bottom of TweetDeck it said: "@replies not refreshing. There is a problem - Don't panic!" That made me laugh. The problem was fixed rather quickly, then the message from TweetDeck said: "Twitter status for account: All Good" I found it very amusing. Also while on TweetDeck, I saw that my sister posted on facebook: "Morning all...I'm off to the old age home today, hope to survive the scary elevator and inquisitive white haired people!" She was going to visit our grandmother who lives in a retirement home. She always complains about the elevator and the 'old people' because they like to stop people and chat.
This is how the rest of the conversation went via facebook:
Me: "You're so dramatic!"
Her: "It's not dramatic, the elevator Really gets stuck ALOT and the old people jump you when you go in with bags! LOL. Today I had no bags but one lady thought I worked there and tried to get me to travel the building with her to find someone's room! I did point her in the right direction but I'm never sure what they are up to so I did not accompany her!"
Me: "LOL! Did you think you were gonna be kidnapped by an old lady?!"
Her: "Ya never know what those crazy old people are doing, they can be VERY entertaining but I didn't feel like being held responsible for someone elses granny today! Our crazy Granny was plenty, she's doing great. Had lunch out and then she was working the gift shop."
Clearly 'crazy' runs in the family! Further proof: My dad thought my mom was missing this morning. Apparently he thought today was Saturday. He looked for my mom inside and out. First he thought she went to the library to walk around the Riparian Preserve (a park and wildlife preserve) or up to the park (there's one at then end of their street). He waited a half hour, then when she didn't return, he looked in her room and noticed her purse was gone. So then he thought she went to the store before her doctor's appt at 9am. Again, she didn't return, so then he started to panic. He actually got in his car and started to go to the library to look for her. On his way there, he wondered why there was so much traffic for a Saturday morning. Then he saw the kids waiting for the bus and realized it was Friday, not Saturday and that my mom was at work. During all this, he had called my mom's cell and left several frantic and increasingly angry messages. Mom said his first message said: 'my wife is missing! Where are you!' Other messages involved him yelling at her for not having her cell phone on. My mom didn't get these messages until she was on her way home from work (she can't have her phone on at work). Now, in a way this is really funny, but it's also kind of scary. My father turned 69 this year and has, for several years now, become increasingly forgetful. We all laughed about today, but my mom and I are worried.
Also on the list of weird today (not that this is a big thing, but) I was going to request a song on my local rock station 98KUPD, and before I had time to tweet my request, they played it!
So that was my day; at least, the interesting parts of my day.
